누구도 숙성된 포도주를 먹고 나서 곧바로 새 포도주를 먹고자 하지 않는다. 새 포도주는 낡은 부대에 담지 않는다. 만일 담으면 부대가 찢어질 것이다. 오래된 포도주는 새 부대에 담지 않는다. 만일 담으면 포도주를 망칠 것이다.
오래된 천조각으로 새 의복을 기우지 않는다. 그것이 찢어질 것이기 때문이다.“

48. 예수께서 말했다. “두 사람이 한 집에서 서로 화평하면, 그들이 산더러 여기에서 움직여라! 라고 말하면 움직일 것이다.”

64. 예수께서 말했다. “한 사람이 손님들을 받고 있었다. 그가 저녁 준비를 마쳤을 때, 그는 하인을 시켜 손님들을 초대하게 하였다. 하인들은 첫 사람에게 가서 말하였다. ‘제 주인이 당신을 초대하십니다.’ 그 사람이 대답하였다. ‘몇몇 상인들이 나에게 빚을 졌습니다. 그들이 오늘 밤 내게 올 것입니다. 나는 가서 그들을 훈계해야 합니다. 내가 저녁식사에 가지 못하는 것을 양해해 주십시오.’ 하인은 다른 사람에게 가서 말하였다. ‘제 주인이 당신을 초대하십니다.’ 그 사람이 대답하였다. ‘내가 집을 샀는데, 그래서 하루 종일 불려 다녔습니다. 아마도 시간이 안 될 것 같습니다.’ 하인은 다른 사람에게 가서 말하였다. ‘제 주인이 당신을 초대하십니다.’ 그가 대답하였다. ‘내 친구가 결혼을 합니다. 그리고 나는 그 연회에 가야 합니다. 그래서 저녁 식사에 가지 못할 것 같습니다. 양해해 주십시오.’ 하인은 또 다른 사람에게 가서 말하였다. ‘제 주인이 당신을 초대하십니다.’ 그가 노예에게 대답하였다. ‘내가 땅을 사서 임대자를 모으러 갈 것입니다. 그래서 갈 수 없을 것 같습니다. 양해해 주십시오.’ 하인은 돌아가서 그 주인에게 말하였다. ‘당신이 저녁에 초대한 사람들이 양해해달라고 합니다.’ 주인이 그 하인에게 말했다. ‘길거리에 나가서 누구든지 저녁을 먹기를 구하는 자를 데려오거라.’

구매자와 상인들은 내 아버지의 처소에 들어가지 못할 것이다.

65. 그가 말했다. “포도 농장을 소유 한 어떤 자가 그것을 농부들에게 빌려주고 그들을 통해 수확물을 거둘 수 있게 하였다. 그는 그의 하인을 농부들에게 보내 수확물을 거두어 오게 하였다. 농부들은 그 하인을 잡아 때리고 거의 죽음에 이르게 하였다. 하인은 되돌아가 그 주인에게 이를 고했다. 주인이 말했다. ‘아마도 그들이 그를 알지 못했을 것이다.’ 그는 다른 하인을 보냈지만, 농부들은 그 역시 때려 눞혔다. 그러자 그 주인은 자신의 아들을 보내며, ‘아마도 그들은 내 아들에게는 존경을 표할 것이다.‘ 라고 말했다. 농부들은 그 아들마저 때리고 죽여버렸다. 왜냐하면 그 농부들은 그 아들이 포도 농장의 상속자임을 알았기 때문이다. 여기 귀 있는 자는 들을 지어다.”

66. 예수께서 말했다. “나에게 건축자들이 거부한 돌을 보여다오. 그것이 종석이다.

67. 예수께서 말했다. “모든 것을 알되 자기 자신을 잃어버린 자들은 궁극적으로 결여한 자들이다.”

68. 예수께서 말했다. “너희가 미움을 받고 박해받을 때에 너희에게 복이 있을 것이다.
너희가 박해받은 곳이 어디이건 간에, 그곳은 드러나지 않을 것이다.”

69. 예수께서 말했다. “자신의 마음 안에서 박해받은 자들에게 복이 있도다. 그들은 진실로 아버지를 알게 된 자들이다.
굼주리며 나아가는 자들에게 복이 있도다. 그들의 굼주린 배가 채워질 것이기 때문이다.“

70. 예수께서 말했다. “만일 너희가 너희 안에 있는 것을 너희 밖으로 드러내어 열매를 맺게 한다면, 너희가 가진 것이 너희를 구할 것이다. 만일 너희가 그것을 너희 안에 갖고 있지 않으면, 너희가 갖지 아니한 것이 너희를 죽일 것이다.”

71. 예수께서 말했다. “나는 이 집을 부술 것이다. 그리고 누구도 그것을 지을 수 없을 것이다.[뒷부분 소실]}

72. 한 사람이 예수께 말했다. “내 형제에게 말씀하셔서 그로 하여금 아버지의 재산을 나와 나누게 하여주십시오.”
예수께서 그에게 말했다. “형제여, 누가 나를 나누는 자로 만들었는가?”
그가 돌아서서 그의 제자들에게 말했다. “나는 나누는 자가 아니다. 안 그런가?”

73. 예수께서 말했다. “수확할 것은 많으나, 일할 사람은 적구나. 그러므로 농장 주인에게 일할 사람을 들판으로 급히 보내달라고 간절히 구하라.”

74. 그가 말했다. “주여, 물 여물통 주위에는 많은 사람들이 있으나, 우물 안에는 아무것도 없습니다.”

75. 예수께서 말했다. “많은 사람들이 문가에 서 있다. 그러나 혼자인 사람들만 신혼 방에 들어갈 것이다.”

76. 예수께서 말했다. “아버지의 나라는 진주를 찾은 상인과 같다. 그 상인은 현명하여, 자신의 모든 물품을 팔아버리고 그 자신을 위하여 그 진주 하나를 구입하였다.
그러므로 너희들 역시 결코 실패하는 법이 없고, 영원히 사라지지 않는 그의 보물을 구하라. 그곳에서는 어떤 입도 너희 보물을 빼앗아 먹는 일이 없고, 그것을 부패케 하는 벌레도 없느니라.“

77. 예수께서 말했다. “나는 모든 것을 비추는 빛이다. 내가 모든 것이다: 나로부터 모든 것이 태어났고, 나에게로 모든 것이 이르리라.
나무 한 조각을 나누어 보아라. 내가 그곳에 있도다.
저 돌을 들어보아라. 너희는 나를 그곳에서 찾을 것이다.“

78. 예수께서 말했다. “너희가 왜 교외로 나왔느냐? 갈대가 바람에 흔들리는 것을 보기 위해서이냐? 너희의 지도자들과 권력자들과 같이 부드러운 옷을 입은 사람을 보기 위해서이냐? 그들은 부드러운 옷을 입었고, 그래서 진리를 깨닫지 못한다.”

79. 군중들 속의 한 여인이 그에게 말했다. “당신을 나은 여자의 배와 당신에게 젖을 먹인 가슴은 얼마나 복됩니까!”

그 가 그녀에게 말했다. “복된 것은 아버지의 말씀을 듣고 그것을 진실되게 지키는 자들이다. 왜냐하면 너희가 언젠가 다음과 같이 말할 날이 올 것이기 때문이다. ”아이를 임신하지 않은 배와, 젖을 물리지 않은 가슴에게 복이 있도다!“

80. 예수께서 말했다. “누구든지 이 세상이 육체를 발견했음을 알게 되는 자에게는, 그리고 누구든지 그 육체를 발견하는 자에게는, 이 세상이 귀하지 아니하리라.”

81. 예수께서 말했다. “부유해진 자에게 통치하도록 하여라. 그리고 힘을 가진 자가 그것을 포기하게 하여라.”

82. 예수께서 말했다. “누구든지 나와 가까이 있는 자는 또한 불과 가까이 있는 것이다. 그리고 누구든지 나로부터 멀리 떠난 자는 아버지의 나라로부터 멀리 떠난 것이다.

83. 예수께서 말했다. “형상은 사람의 눈에 보인다. 그러나 그 안에 있는 빛은 아버지의 빛의 형상 안에 숨겨져 있다. 그는 드러날 것이지만, 그의 형상은 그의 광채 안에 숨겨져 있다.”

84. 예수께서 말했다. “너희가 너희의 닮음을 볼 때, 너희는 행복해한다. 그러나 너희가 너희보다 먼저 지어졌으며, 죽지도, 보이지도 않는 너희의 형상들을 보게 될 때, 너희가 얼마나 견딜 수 있으랴!”

85. 예수께서 말했다. “아담은 큰 힘과 큰 부로부터 나왔다. 그러나 그는 너희만큼 귀하지 않다. 만약 그가 더 귀했다면, 그는 죽음을 맛보지 않았을 것이다.”

87. 예수께서 말했다. “육체에 의존해 있는 육체는 얼마나 비참한가. 또한 육체와 혼에 의존해 있는 혼은 얼마나 비참한가.”

88. 예수께서 말했다. “전령들과 선지자들이 너희에게 올 것이며, 너희에게 속한 것을 줄 것이다. 너희는 그 대가로 너희가 가진 것을 주고 너희 스스로에게 말하라. ‘그들은 언제 와서 그들에게 속한 것을 가져갈 것인가?’”

89. 예수께서 말했다. “왜 너희는 컵의 바깥 면을 씻느냐? 너희는 안쪽을 만든 자가 또한 바깥 쪽을 만들었음을 깨닫지 못하느냐?”

90. 예수께서 말했다. “나에게 나오라. 내 멍에는 편안하고, 나의 집은 가볍기 때문이다. 네가 너를 위해 안식할 곳을 찾게 될 것이다.”

91. 제자들이 그에게 말했다. “우리에게 당신이 누군지를 말해주어, 당신을 믿게 해 주십시오.”
그가 그들에게 말했다. “너희가 하늘과 땅의 얼굴을 시험하면서도, 너희 앞에 있는 자가 누구인지 깨닫지 못하며, 지금 이 순간을 시험할 방법을 알지 못하는구나.”

92. 예수께서 말했다. “구하라, 그러면 찾을 것이다.

95. 예수께서 말했다. “너희가 돈을 가지고 있다면, 그것을 이자를 받고 빌려주지 말아라. 차라리 너희에게 그것을 돌려주지 않을 사람에게 그 돈을 주어라.”

96. 예수께서 말했다. “아버지의 나라는 한 여자와 같다. 그녀는 작은 양의 효모를 취하여 밀가루 반죽에 숨겨 놓았다. 그리고 그 반죽을 커다란 빵 덩어리로 만들었다. 여기 두 귀가 있는 자는 들을 지어다!

97. 예수께서 말했다. “아버지의 나라는 항아리에 곡식을 가득 담아 이고 가는 여자와 같다. 그녀가 먼 길을 가는 동안, 항아리의 손잡이가 부러졌고 곡식은 그녀 뒤 길가 위로 빠져나갔다. 그러나 그녀는 그것을 알지 못했다. 그녀는 문제가 있다는 것을 깨닫지 못했다. 그녀가 자신의 집에 도착했을 때, 그녀는 항아리를 바닥에 내려놓았고, 그것이 텅 비어있음을 발견했다. ”

102. 예수께서 말했다. “바리새인들에게 화가 있으리라! 그들은 마치 소의 여물통에서 잠을 자는 개와 같도다. 개는 자신도 먹지 않고, 소도 먹지 못하게 한다.”

103. 예수께서 말했다. “반역자들이 어디를 공격할지 아는 자들에게 복이 있도다. 그들은 나아갈 수 있고, 왕의 자원을 모을 수 있고, 반역자들이 도착하기 전에 예비할 수 있다.”

104. 그들이 예수께 말했다. “오십시오. 함께 기도하고, 함께 금식하여 주십시오.”
예수께서 말했다. “내가 무슨 죄를 지었으며, 내가 어찌 타락하였는가? 그러나 신랑이 신혼방을 나가고 나면, 그 때에 사람들을 기도하게 하고 금식하게 하라.”

105. 예수께서 말했다. “부모가 누군지 아는 자들은 모두 창녀의 자식이라고 불리게 될 것이다.”

106. 예수께서 말했다. “너희가 둘을 하나로 만들 때, 너희는 아담의 자식이 될 것이요, 너희가 이 산더러 저리로 움직이라고 하면 그렇게 될 것이다.”

107. 예수께서 말했다. “하늘 나라는 백 마리의 양을 가진 목자와 같다. 그들 중 가장 큰 하나가 무리를 이탈했다. 목자는 나머지 아흔 아홉 마리 양을 남겨두고 그 한 마리를 발견할 때 까지 찾아다녔다. 그가 힘들게 수고한 끝에 그는 한 마리 양을 찾아 그 양에게 말하였다. ”내가 너를 다른 아흔 아홉의 양보다 더 사랑한다.“

108. 예수께서 말했다. “누구든지 내 입으로부터 나오는 것을 마시는 자는 나와 같이 될 것이다. 나 자신이 그 사람이 될 것이며, 숨겨진 비밀들이 그에게 드러날 것이다.”

PROLOGUE

These are the secret sayings that the living Jesus spoke and Didymos Judas

Thomas recorded.

1 And he said, "Whoever discovers the interpretation of these sayings will not

taste death."

2 Jesus said, "Those who seek should not stop seeking until they find. 2When

they find, they will be disturbed. 3When they are disturbed, they will marvel, 4

and will rule over all."

3 Jesus said, "If your leaders say to you, 'Look, the (Father's) imperial rule is

in the sky,' then the birds of the sky will precede you. 2If they say to you, 'It is

in the sea,' then the fish will precede you. 3Rather, the (Father's) imperial rule

is inside you and outside you. 4When you know yourselves, then you will be

known, and you will understand that you are children of the living Father. 5But

if you do not know yourselves, then you live in poverty, and you are the

poverty."

4 Jesus said, "The person old in days won't hesitate to ask a little child seven

days old about the place of life, and that person will live. 2For many of the first

will be last, 3and will become a single one."

5 Jesus said, "Know what is in front of your face, and what is hidden from you

will be disclosed to you. 2 For there is nothing hidden that won't be revealed."

6 His disciples asked him and said to him, "Do you want us to fast? How

should we pray? Should we give to charity? What diet should we observe?"

2Jesus said, "Don't lie, 3 and don't do what you hate, 4because all things are

disclosed before heaven. 5After all, there is nothing hidden that won't be

revealed, 6 and there is nothing covered up that will remain undisclosed."

7 Jesus said, "Lucky is the lion that the human will eat, so that the lion

becomes human. 2And foul is the human that the lion will eat, and the lion still

will become human."

8 And he said, "The human one is like a wise fisherman who cast his net into

the sea and drew it up from the sea full of little fish. 2Among them the wise

fisherman discovered a fine large fish. 3He threw all the little fish back into the

sea, and easily chose the large fish. 4Anyone here with two good ears had

better listen!"

9 Jesus said,

Look, the sower went out, took a handful (of seeds), and scattered

(them). 2Some fell on the road, and the birds came and gathered them.

3 0thers fell on rock, and they didn't take root in the soil and didn't

produce heads of grain. 4Others fell on thorns, and they choked the

seeds and worms ate them. 5 And others fell on good soil, and it

produced a good crop: it yielded sixty per measure and one hundred

twenty per measure.

10 Jesus said, "I have cast fire upon the world, and look, I'm guarding it until it

blazes."

11 Jesus said, "This heaven will pass away, and the one above it will pass

away. 2 The dead are not alive, and the living will not die. 3During the days

when you ate what is dead, you made it come alive. When you are in the

light, what will you do? 4 0n the day when you were one, you became two. But

when you become two, what will you do?"

12 The disciples said to Jesus, "We know that you are going to leave us. Who

will be our leader?"

2Jesus said to them, "No matter where you are, you are to go to James the

just, for whose sake heaven and earth came into being."

13 Jesus said to his disciples, "Compare me to something and tell me what I

am like."

2Simon Peter said to him, "You are like a just angel."

3 Matthew said to him, "You are like a wise philosopher."

4Thomas said to him, "Teacher, my mouth is utterly unable to say what you

are like."

5 Jesus said, "I am not your teacher. Because you have drunk, you have

become intoxicated from the bubbling spring that I have tended."

6 And he took him, and withdrew, and spoke three sayings to him.

7When Thomas came back to his friends, they asked him, "What did Jesus

say to you?"

8 Thomas said to them, "If I tell you one of the sayings he spoke to me, you

will pick up rocks and stone me, and fire will come from the rocks and devour

you."

14 Jesus said to them, "If you fast, you will bring sin upon yourselves, 2and if

you pray, you will be condemned, 3 and if you give to charity, you will harm

your spirits. 4When you go into any region and walk about in the countryside,

when people take you in, eat what they serve you and heal the sick among

them. 5After all, what goes into your mouth won't defile you; what comes out

of your mouth will."

15 Jesus said, "When you see one who was not born of woman, fall on your

faces and worship. That one is your Father."

16 Jesus said, "Perhaps people think that I have come to cast peace upon the

world. 2They do not know that I have come to cast conflicts upon the earth:

fire, sword, war. 3 For there will be five in a house: there'll be three against

two and two against three, father against son and son against father, 4and

they will stand alone."

17 Jesus said, "I will give you what no eye has seen, what no ear has heard,

what no hand has touched, what has not arisen in the human heart."

18 The disciples said to Jesus, "Tell us, how will our end come?"

2Jesus said, "Have you found the beginning, then, that you are looking for the

end? You see, the end will be where the beginning is. 3Congratulations to the

one who stands at the beginning: that one will know the end and will not taste

death."

19 Jesus said, "Congratulations to the one who came into being before

coming into being. 2 If you become my disciples and pay attention to my

sayings, these stones will serve you. 3For there are five trees in Paradise for

you; they do not change, summer or winter, and their leaves do not fall.

4Whoever knows them will not taste death."

20 The disciples said to Jesus, "Tell us what Heaven's imperial rule is like."

2He said to them,

It's like a mustard seed. 3(It's) the smallest of all seeds, 4but when it

falls on prepared soil, it produces a large branch and becomes a

shelter for birds of the sky.

21 Mary said to Jesus, "What are your disciples like?"

2He said,

They are like little children living in a field that is not theirs. 3When the

owners of the field come, they will say, "Give us back our field." 4 They

take off their clothes in front of them in order to give it back to them,

and they return their field to them. 5For this reason I say, if the owners

of a house know that a thief is coming, they will be on guard before the

thief arrives, and will not let the thief break into their house (their

domain) and steal their possessions. 6 As for you, then, be on guard

against the world. 7Prepare yourselves with great strength, so the

robbers can't find a way to get to you, for the trouble you expect will

come. 8 Let there be among you a person who understands. 9When the

crop ripened, he came quickly carrying a sickle and harvested it.

10Anyone here with two good ears had better listen!

22 Jesus saw some babies nursing. 2He said to his disciples, "These nursing

babies are like those who enter the (Father's) domain."

3They said to him, "Then shall we enter the (Father's) domain as babies?"

4 Jesus said to them, "When you make the two into one, and when you make

the inner like the outer and the outer like the inner, and the upper like the

lower, 5 and when you make male and female into a single one, so that the

male will not be male nor the female be female, 6when you make eyes in

place of an eye, a hand in place of a hand, a foot in place of a foot, an image

in place of an image, 7then you will enter [the (Father's) domain]."

23 Jesus said, "I shall choose you, one from a thousand and two from ten

thousand, 2and they will stand as a single one."

24 His disciples said, "Show us the place where you are, for we must seek it."

2He said to them, "Anyone here with two ears had better listen! 3There is light

within a person of light, and it shines on the whole world. If it does not shine, it

is dark."

25 Jesus said, "Love your friends like your own soul, 2protect them like the

pupil of your eye."

26 Jesus said, "You see the sliver in your friend's eye, but you don't see the

timber in your own eye. 2When you take the timber out of your own eye, then

you will see well enough to remove the sliver from your friend's eye.

27 "If you do not fast from the world, you will not find the (Father's) domain. 2If

28 Jesus said, "I took my stand in the midst of the world, and in flesh I

appeared to them. 2 I found them all drunk, and I did not find any of them

thirsty. 3My soul ached for the children of humanity, because they are blind in

their hearts and do not see, for they came into the world empty, and they also

seek to depart from the world empty. 'But meanwhile they are drunk. When

they shake off their wine, then they will change their ways."

29 Jesus said, "If the flesh came into being because of spirit, that is a marvel,

2but if spirit came into being because of the body, that is a marvel of marvels.

3 Yet I marvel at how this great wealth has come to dwell in this poverty."

30 Jesus said, "Where there are three deities, they are divine. 2Where there

are two or one, I am with that one."

31 Jesus said, "No prophet is welcome on his home turf; 2doctors don't cure

those who know them."

your rooftops. 2 After all, no one lights a lamp and puts it under a basket, nor

45 Jesus said, "Grapes are not harvested from thorn trees, nor are figs

gathered from thistles, for they yield no fruit. 2Good persons produce good

from what they've stored up; 3 bad persons produce evil from the wickedness

they've stored up in their hearts, and say evil things. 'For from the overflow of

the heart they produce evil."

46 Jesus said, "From Adam to John the Baptist, among those born of women,

no one is so much greater than John the Baptist that his eyes should not be

averted. 2But I have said that whoever among you becomes a child will

recognize the (Father's) imperial rule and will become greater than John."

47 Jesus said, "A person cannot mount two horses or bend two bows. 2And a

slave cannot serve two masters, otherwise that slave will honor the one and

3 "Nobody drinks aged wine and immediately wants to drink young wine.

4Young wine is not poured into old wineskins, or they might break, and aged

wine is not poured into a new wineskin, or it might spoil. 5An old patch is not

sewn onto a new garment, since it would create a tear."

48 Jesus said, "If two make peace with each other in a single house, they will

say to the mountain, 'Move from here!' and it will move."

49 Jesus said, "Congratulations to those who are alone and chosen, for you

will find the (Father's) domain. For you have come from it, and you will return

there again."

50 Jesus said, "If they say to you, 'Where have you come from?' say to them,

'We have come from the light, from the place where the light came into being

by itself, established [itself], and appeared in their image.' 2If they say to you,

'Is it you?' say, 'We are its children, and we are the chosen of the living

Father.' 3 If they ask you, 'What is the evidence of your Father in you?' say to

wheat along with them." 4 For on the day of the harvest the weeds will

be conspicuous, and will be pulled up and burned.

58 Jesus said, "Congratulations to the person who has toiled and has found

life."

59 Jesus said, "Look to the living one as long as you live, otherwise you might

die and then try to see the living one, and you will be unable to see."

60 (He saw) a Samaritan carrying a lamb and going to Judea. 2He said to his

12Buyers and merchants [will] not enter the places of my Father.

65 He said,

A [. . .] person owned a vineyard and rented it to some farmers, so they

could work it and he could collect its crop from them. 2He sent his slave

so the farmers would give him the vineyard's crop. 3They grabbed him,

beat him, and almost killed him, and the slave returned and told his

master. 4 His master said, "Perhaps he didn't know them." 5He sent

another slave, and the farmers beat that one as well. 6Then the master

sent his son and said, "Perhaps they'll show my son some respect."

7Because the farmers knew that he was the heir to the vineyard, they

grabbed him and killed him. 8 Anyone here with two ears had better

listen!

66 Jesus said, "Show me the stone that the builders rejected: that is the

keystone."

67 Jesus said, "Those who know all, but are lacking in themselves, are utterly

lacking."

68 Jesus said, "Congratulations to you when you are hated and persecuted; 2

and no place will be found, wherever you have been persecuted."

69 Jesus said, "Congratulations to those who have been persecuted in their

hearts: they are the ones who have truly come to know the Father. 2

Congratulations to those who go hungry, so the stomach of the one in want

77 Jesus said, "I am the light that is over all things. I am all: from me all came

forth, and to me all attained. 2 Split a piece of wood; I am there. 3Lift up the

stone, and you will find me there."

78 Jesus said, "Why have you come out to the countryside? To see a reed

shaken by the wind? 2And to see a person dressed in soft clothes, [like your]

rulers and your powerful ones? 3 They are dressed in soft clothes, and they

cannot understand truth."

The [Father's] imperial rule is like a woman who was carrying a [jar] full

of meal. 2While she was walking along [a] distant road, the handle of

the jar broke and the meal spilled behind her [along] the road. 3She

didn't know it; she hadn't noticed a problem. 4When she reached her

house, she put the jar down and discovered that it was empty.

98 Jesus said,

The Father's imperial rule is like a person who wanted to kill someone

powerful. 2While still at home he drew his sword and thrust it into the

wall to find out whether his hand would go in. 3Then he killed the

powerful one.

105 Jesus said, "Whoever knows the father and the mother will be called the

child of a whore."

106 Jesus said, "When you make the two into one, you will become children

of Adam, 2and when you say, 'Mountain, move from here!' it will move."

107 Jesus said,

The (Father's) imperial rule is like a shepherd who had a hundred

sheep. 2One of them, the largest, went astray. He left the ninetynine

and looked for the one until he found it. 3After he had toiled, he said to

the sheep, "I love you more than the ninetynine."

field but did not know it. 2And [when] he died he left it to his [son]. The

son [did] not know (about it either). He took over the field and sold it.

3The buyer went plowing, [discovered] the treasure, and began to lend

money at interest to whomever he wished.

2"It will not come by watching for it. 3 It will not be said, 'Look, here!' or 'Look,

there!' 'Rather, the Father's imperial rule is spread out upon the earth, and

people don't see it."

114 Simon Peter said to them, "Make Mary leave us, for females don't

deserve life."

2 Jesus said, "Look, I will guide her to make her male, so that she too may

become a living spirit resembling you males. 3For every female who makes

herself male will enter the domain of Heaven."
